What Games Coming Next

Dallas still play four more games, and three of them vs losing teams, so maybe it open chance a little bit.

  • Minnesota Vikings (Dec 14)
  • Los Angeles Chargers (Dec 21)
  • Washington Commanders (Dec 25)
  • New York Giants (Jan 3 or 4)

Cowboys already play four games in 18 days, including wins vs Raiders, Eagles and Chiefs, after trading for Quinnen Williams, who help defense a lot. Coach Brian Schottenheimer say he feel proud of players because everyone fight hard in short schedule.

But Cowboys lose the turnover battle 3-0, and Lions turn those mistakes into 14 points. Prescott also get pressure 20 times and get sacked five times, so offense not working smooth like last weeks. Cowboys even get some questionable offensive pass interference flags that hurt the team.

Even after losing CeeDee Lamb with concussion in third quarter, Cowboys still come close two times in the fourth quarter, but the defense allow touchdowns again, so comeback fail.

Coach say the complementary football not working like last weeks, when both offense and defense support each other.

Can Cowboys Still Make Playoffs?

Maybe the best hope is NFC East, if Philadelphia Eagles keep sliding. Dak say now destiny is not fully in Cowboys hands. Before if they win out, there was control, but now they need some other teams to lose also.

Dak say only thing Cowboys can control now is effort and pride. How they prepare, how they play for each other, and respect for game.

If Cowboys play with full heart, maybe still a small playoff chance stay alive for this season.
