Amazing comeback by England’s women’s football team, the lionesses, against Italy to win 2-1.
They have reached the finals of the Women’s Euro 2025.
Italy Scored First
In the beginning things didn’t go well for England. In the first half Italy played really good and even scored a goal. This made England look a little nervous and couldn’t find good chances to score.
England Fights Back
But in the second half, everything changed. England didn’t give up. Young star Michelle Agyemang scored a lovely goal to make it 1-1. That goal gave the whole team and fans new energy.
Chloe Kelly Does It Again
Everyone thought the match would go into extra time, but then Chloe Kelly kicked the ball really hard in the 88th minute — and scored! The whole stadium cheered loudly. Chloe saved the day again, just like she did in Euro 2022.
England Into the Final!
Thanks to this win, England is now in the Euro 2025 final. They will play Spain or Germany next. The final will be on Sunday, 27 July, in Basel, Switzerland.
