Okay sooo… if you’re like me and have been waiting for GTA 6 forever, here’s some news you might not wanna hear. There’s a new leak floating around that says the game might actually come out later than we hoped.
I know, I know… we all thought it was gonna drop in early 2026, but now people are saying it could be September 2026 instead. Another wait. Ugh.
Why the delay though?
Honestly, making a game like GTA 6 is insane work. Rockstar is super picky about their games being perfect before launch. They’re building this massive map, adding crazy good graphics, and they really don’t want a buggy mess on release.
And tbh… I kinda get it. I’d rather wait than play a broken game like some of the other launches we’ve seen recently .
Fans are having mixed reaction!!
Some ppl are like “omg again?? we’ve been waiting since GTA 5 on PS3 days!!”
Others are just chill and say, “Fine, take your time. I just want it perfect.”
I’m somewhere in the middle. I’m low‑key upset… but also, if waiting a few more months gives us the best GTA ever, I’ll survive.

Rockstar hasn’t said anything official yet, so this is still just a leak/rumor. But if it’s true, welp… guess we’re all waiting a bit longer to cruise the streets in GTA 6.
