Carlos Correa Come Back with the Astros

There is a Big news for Houston Astros fans – Carlos Correa is coming back to home! The Astros have traded with the Minnesota Twins to bring back their  star player and all this happens just before the trade ends.

Carlos Correa Welcome Back

Carlos Correa played seven seasons with his team Astros, and under his playing they win the 2017 World Series. He left the team in 2022 to join the new team, the twins, but now he is coming back to Houston again to his old team.

Real Deal Behind Comeback

  • The Astros sent minor league pitcher Matt Mikulski to the Twins Team.
  • And the Twins will also pay Correa’s salary which is  around $33 million.
  • and Correa will make $36 million this year and still has $92 million left on his contract for the period of next 3 years

Astros general manager Dana Brown said

We needed a good bat and an infielder. Correa fits both needs. He’s done great things here, and he brings energy to the team and the fans.

Correa’s Performance

Last year Correa was an All-Star Player but played only 86 games due to his foot injury, and this season he has scored 7 home runs and a average of 267 in batting just in 93 games and this is not his best but still a bigger achievement.

Along with Correa, the Astros also brought Jesus Sanchez who is a outfielder and Ramon Urias who is a utility infielder to the team.
