So there is great news for the fans of the game Gears of War, big news is coming for gamers, The original Gears of War, which was first released in 2006 is getting its remastered version, and this remastered version will be released on August 26, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
and this time this remastered version is coming to PC and this new version will have better graphics and sounds, It will support 4K resolution and 60 FPS in the story mode and Multiplayer mode can run up to 120 FPS only if your TV or monitor support it, it also has some other upgrades like
- High dynamic Range(HDR) lighting
- Dolby Atmos and 3D surround sound
- No loading screens in the story
- Improved shadows and reflections
- Cleaner, sharper graphics and textures
This remaster will have all the multiplayer maps and modes with all the extra DLC Content which has released earlier players can even play the story in two-player co-op and also an 8 player online battles even this time this game will support cross play means you can play with your friends on any platform
There’s no need for a Microsoft Account to play online but if the player logs in with their Account this will unlock more features
- players progress will carry over between devices
- players can send invites and play with friends on other platforms
but if you already purchased the digital version of Gears of War:Ultimate Edition before this announcement then player will also get Gears of War : Reloaded for Free for that Xbox will send out a special code before launch to the players.
